Pescara

Rochester’s newest restaurant is Pescara…located in the Doubletree hotel downtown!  For those that don’t know the Radisson converted to a Doubletree this winter in a rebranding effort.  We went there this past Saturday night for a “soft opening” where they servered free appetizers and drinks…it was very impressive!  The new lobby is quite modern and sleek which meshes well with the restaurant.  Pescara holds around 50 people and will be specializing in fresh seafood which is a great addition to the culinary scene in town.  I briefly looked at a menu and would expect prices to be around Prescott’s…a little more than say Chesters…their other restaurant in town.  It’s probably not going to be a place you go to every week, but I’m looking forward to the food.  They are open to the public today and take reservations.
